Optional Foreign Language Preparatory Program
The Department of Econometrics offers an optional one-year Preparatory Class to better equip its students for the demands of the job market. Based on their language proficiency levels, students receive one year of instruction from qualified foreign language instructors.
Students who wish to enroll in the optional preparatory program must select “YES” in response to the question “DO YOU WANT TO ENROLL IN THE OPTIONAL PREPARATORY PROGRAM?” during their registration via the e-Government system. Those registering in person are required to submit a written petition indicating their intent to participate in the optional preparatory year.
Applications are evaluated within the limits of available quotas, and the list of accepted students is announced on the website of the School of Foreign Languages. Students whose applications are accepted will be officially enrolled in the Preparatory Class. Once enrolled, students are not permitted to transfer to their departments before completing the one-year preparatory education period.
